Well, we have been having some funny weather recently haven’t we? When the sun had his hat on during one of the warmest March months ever recorded, we all reveled in the early summer and felt sure that spring had definitely sprung at least. But then came April, hard on its heels with a cold snap that saw some parts of England and Scotland covered in snow. And I should know as we were camping in the Peak District!
By now I'm sure you will all have heard of the tragic story of Claire Squires, who died on Sunday running the London Marathon.
I too spent time reading about her story and I can't have been the only person who had to hold back a tear.
25th April is Anzac Day and for all of you out there who never studied history its a day in honour to mark the deaths of thousands of Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZACs) who lost their lives in war, particularly during the First World War at Gallipoli in Turkey.
You probably know that Save the Children is a charity that does great work, helping less fortunate children in impoverished or war-torn areas around the world. You should also know that for every jar of Fair Instant sold, 10p is donated to Save the Children.
How many more puns can we get into this post? Well, read on to see our pick of the best Easter treats available for this year’s chocolate Eggstravaganza. We reckon there’s something for everyone here. You could even say we’ve put all our eggs in one basket (sorry!). You just need to get shopping quickly…
Once we've had Pancake Day, or Shrove Tuesday, and we've all had our fill of sugary, lemony goodness (chocolate spread, jam, maple syrup - delete as appropriate) what's next? What's the next big event we can all look forward to on the calendar? Erm, well that would be Easter and all that yummy, chocolately fun of course!
